The original Hitch-Haul was designed almost 2 decades ago to meet the cargo needs of a "new" SUV market. Customers quickly realized that they didn't want to haul some of their untidy cargo inside their vehicle. Faced with the same dilemma, Masterbuilt employees designed the first Hitch-Haul for use on their own vehicles. It was a hit with everyone that saw it, and was quickly put into production.
